The Boy (2016) is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by William Brent Bell and starring Lauren Cohan, Rupert Evans, and James Russell. The film follows a young American nanny who agrees to care for a life-sized doll in a remote English village, only to find herself plagued by disturbing occurrences and the realization that the doll may be more than it seems. A trailer for the film was released on YouTube on March 10, 2016, and the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 19, 2016.
