The 33 International Trailer

"The 33" is a 2015 Chilean-American biographical drama film directed by Patricia Riggen and starring Antonio Banderas, Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche, James Brolin, and Gabriel Byrne. The film is based on the real-life events of the 2010 Copiapó mining disaster in Chile, in which 33 miners were trapped underground for 69 days. The film follows the miners as they struggle to survive and the rescue efforts that are undertaken to save them.
