AceShowbiz - Cardi B has added fuel to speculation that she's currently having a bun in the oven. The Internet is rife with rumors that the raptress may be expecting her third child together with Offset following her appearance at the 2024 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards.
At the event, which was held on Saturday, June 22 in Beverly Hills, California, the Bronx femcee was dressed in a monochromatic black outfit. While she flaunted her ample cleavage in the plunging number, the dress covered her midsection.
Fans immediately began to speculate that the 31-year-old was trying to hide her supposed baby bump with the outfit. While the pregnancy news has not been confirmed, this has upset fans who believe that this probably means they'll have to wait longer for Cardi's new album.
"Are we gonna ignore the fact that she's pregnant," one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. A second fan claimed, "cardi b is pregnant as hell. I wish she would just announce it already it already lol."
A third speculated, "Cardi b is currently roughly 5 months pregnant, she won't drop the album in the next two months because she will be full blown pregnant and can't tour. She will drop the album in 4 months right before she deliver then go on tour 2 months post partum."
"Cardi B looks pregnant," a fourth weighed in, as another fan criticized the raptress for allegedly getting pregnant again despite Offset's cheating rumors, "Cardi is so annoying wtf are you doing pregnant when cheating allegations were just a few months ago stop pissing me awfffffffff."
At the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, Cardi addressed her critics as she accepted the Inspiration Award. "I just want to say thank Jason [Lee] so much for this award," she began in her speech. "I'm really my biggest critic and I always say this, 'Nobody has it harder than in the industry and in every genre than a female rapper, and I'm going to tell you why.' "
"You have to have the best verse. Not only that, you have to kill the charts. On top of that, your personal life has to be perfect, or then the opp b***hes are going to use that against you," she continued. "They are always talking about 'Your husband. Your husband.' Shut up. I make more money than all the n***as you're f**king."
Prior to Cardi's appearance at the award show, Media Take Out reported that Cardi and Offset were initially scheduled to announce the pregnancy last week. However, they may have to put their announcement on hold as the former Migos star has been caught in another cheating scandal.
Recently, a woman went on social media to claim that Offset got a woman named Pree pregnant and then paid to have an abortion. The alleged mistress is described as a beautiful brown-skinned Atlanta Instagram model.
