Despite setbacks, the actress playing Lilith in the movie, which is set for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025, expresses confidence in Marvel Studios' dedication to crafting a great movie.

AceShowbiz - Amid concerns surrounding the delay of Marvel Studios' "Blade" reboot, Mia Goth, who portrays Lilith in the upcoming film, has shared her thoughts on the project. Speaking to Deadline, Goth expressed her admiration for the studio's "really care[ing]" approach, emphasizing their desire to create a "great movie."

Despite facing directorial changes, with Yann Demange becoming the second director to depart the project following Bassam Tariq, Goth remains optimistic. She noted the "sense" she has received from Marvel Studios that they are "prioritizing making a great movie."

Lilith, a supernatural villain in the comics, is set to be portrayed by Goth in "Blade". She is known for attempting to sacrifice Blade's daughter in the source material. Delays for the film have occurred, including a setback due to the WGA strike last year.

The script for "Blade" is being penned by Eric Pearson, known for his work on "Agent Carter", "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Black Widow]". Meanwhile, Goth recently reprised her role as Maxine in A24's "MaXXXine", which follows her character's journey to fame in 1980s Los Angeles.

Despite the changes, "Blade" remains scheduled for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025. However, it remains to be seen if the recent directorial departure will affect the film's release date.
