AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian sparked chatters after she debuted a dramatic hair transformation. "The Kardashians" star made use of her Instagram account to share a slew of pictures of her rocking platinum blonde which is styled in basket braids.
The snaps saw the SKIMS founder posing in a sheer pink bodysuit while flaunting her new hairdo. The hairstyle featured a middle part with 2 elaborately interwoven braids sitting on each side of her head. Kim tagged hairstylist and best friend Chris Appleton, seemingly crediting him for the look.
Upon catching wind of Kim's new post, Internet users appeared to have divided opinions. Seemingly thinking it looked bizarre, one of her followers questioned in the comments section, "The fuq is this Kim ? lol." Someone joked, "founding fathers type wig."
"Kim babes ….. this ain’t it," another noted. Some people also likened Kim to the Targaryens, who are depicted with silver hair, from HBO's "Game of Thrones" universe. "Keeping up with the Targaryens?" one comment read.
Despite the trolling, some fans left positive comments underneath the post. "Das cute," one wrote, while someone else calling the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum "the best."
One other defended the mom of four for experimenting with her hair. "Why is she not allowed to play around in her creativity? Y’all love trying to box people in. That y’all don’t even know," the person said.
Kim is no stranger to gaining attention for her look. Recently, the former wife of Kanye West made headlines for her racy style for grocery shopping in West Hollywood.
In photos taken during the outing, Kim could be seen showing off her curves in a skintight sleeveless outfit. The revealing number consisted of a pair of white underwear through the translucent fabric.
As for her hair, Kim's bleached hair was dripping wet as she finished the look with a pair of silver flip-flop wedges. The "American Horror Story: Delicate" star also rocked a silver pendant necklace and a gold bangle on her wrist. Kim's grocery run came after she was out for dinner with a friend at a nearby restaurant.
