Burrow's sleek black suit featured satin lapels and a daring open back, revealing a glimpse of his physique. Social media users were quick to express their thirst for the dashing quarterback, joking that if his football career faltered, modeling could easily be his second calling. Burrow explained his decision to embrace the fashion industry to Vogue. "I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person. Walking in the show is a great way to do that. I think the crossover between fashion and sport is going to continue to grow," he said.
Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, shared Burrow's enthusiasm for the experience. "This is my first show, and who wouldn't want Vogue World to be their first?" he said.
During their trip to Paris Fashion Week, the duo indulged in French cuisine, toured the Hermes atelier, and witnessed the latest collections at Amiri, one of Jefferson's favorite brands. Burrow cherished the opportunity to experience the runway alongside his friend and former teammate.
Despite the excitement surrounding Burrow's fashion debut, the quarterback assured Bengals fans that his focus remains on football. After signing a 5-year, $275 million contract extension in September 2023, he is committed to the team through 2029.
Burrow is currently recovering from a season-ending wrist injury but has participated in the majority of the team's offseason workouts. The Bengals will kick off their 2024 season against the New England Patriots before facing the Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in Week 2.
