From career shifts to emotional betrayals, the 'Bachelorette' alum shares a candid look into why her engagement to Jason Tartick ultimately didn't work out.

AceShowbiz - Kaitlyn Bristowe shares the challenges she faced during her relationship with Jason Tartick, including his shift from finance to influencer life and her request that he not start a podcast.

After her broken engagement with Shawn Booth, Bristowe hoped to find a man who didn't aspire to be an influencer. When she met Tartick, he seemed to fit the bill, stating that he worked in finance and had no desire to pursue influencer status.

However, after losing his job, Tartick began exploring other career avenues and eventually plunged into influencer life. Bristowe struggled with this change, as it went against their initial agreement that they would have separate careers.

Despite her initial resistance, Bristowe agreed to overlook Tartick's career switch due to her love for him. However, she made a request that he not start his own podcast, as she hosted one herself. Tartick initially agreed but later realized the financial potential of podcasting.

Bristowe felt like her feelings were not prioritized when Tartick decided to launch a podcast. She expressed that she wanted to be chosen over a podcast but claimed that Tartick felt she was stunting his growth.

This conflict created resentment and betrayal for Bristowe, eventually leading to a sense of panic and a heightened awareness of the value placed on her emotions compared to financial gains. Tartick's podcast, "Trading Secrets," was launched despite Bristowe's concerns.

Bristowe and Tartick met on her podcast, "Off the Vine," in 2018. They began dating in 2019 and got engaged in 2021 but later split in July 2023. Their breakup was announced in August, and Tartick has since moved on with Kat Stickler.
