In a new episode of 'Mama June: Family Crisis', the 'Mama June: From Not to Hot' star is providing comfort to her daughter, Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell, as her cancer progresses.

AceShowbiz - As Anna's health declined, Mama June (June Shannon) and her daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efrid set aside their financial differences to honor Anna's wish to have the entire family by her side. A new episode of "Mama June: Family Crisis" sees Anna's condition worsened despite their efforts, prompting her to move in with Mama June.

With Anna fearing passing away in her sleep, Mama June and her husband stayed at her home to offer comfort. Anna's husband eventually brought her to Mama June's house at 3 a.m. with her two daughters. Anna requested hospice care, which Mama June facilitated.

Mama June acknowledges that some may view this as giving up, but she emphasizes that Anna recognized her body's fatigue and wanted to spend her remaining days with her family. Even though making noise, Anna surrounded herself with her loved ones as she desired.

On December 11, Mama June announced Anna's passing in a heartfelt Instagram post, stating that she passed peacefully at home at 11:12 p.m., surrounded by family.

Mama June shares that living in the same home where Anna died is a constant reminder of their loss. After Anna's diagnosis with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in March 2023 and subsequent passing in December, her 11-year-old daughter Kaitlyn now lives with Mama June and her husband. Anna's other daughter, 8-year-old Kylee, lives with her biological father.

Mama June finds it emotionally challenging, questioning if she will ever wake up from this nightmare. Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, her second oldest daughter, also expresses sadness and tries to focus on the positive memories of Anna.

Mama June says that Kaitlyn is very similar to Anna, reminding her of her daughter's personality and growth. The episodes of Mama June: Family Crisis airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on WEtv.
