The English native talks about his friendship with his 'Kinds of Kindness' and 'The Favourite' co-star after she described him as 'one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.'

AceShowbiz - Joe Alwyn is happy that his split with Taylor Swift didn't affect his friendship with Emma Stone. In a new interview, "The Favourite" actor said he's "so lucky" to be close with his co-star.
The 33-year-old talked about Emma when addressing her comments, in which she called him "one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet." Responding to that, the English native told Entertainment Tonight, "Well, I would say [that] back, yeah."
"I'm so lucky to be close to her, she's just the best," Joe added of Emma, who is his ex Taylor's BFF. "She's obviously wildly talented and she's just the best."
Emma, who also worked with Joe on "Kinds of Kindness", made her remarks back in 2022 before Joe and Taylor broke up. "I love Joe," she said back in 2022 before he and Swift broke up. "We had to do some pretty dark stuff on this one, so it was extremely comforting to be with him because he's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet."
Emma herself has a solid bond with Taylor. In January of this year, the Oscar-winning actress wasn't hesitant to tease her friend over the latter's enthusiastic reaction to her win at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.
At the ceremony, Emma was named Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for her performance in "Poor Things". Being one of Emma's best supporters, Taylor quickly stood up and cheered loudly as Emma's name was called.
In a post-win interview, Emma was asked by a reporter what she thought about Taylor's reaction to her win. "What an a**hole, am I right?" the "La La Land" star jokingly said, prompting laughter from everyone in the room.
The 35-year-old then quickly added, "No, I've known her for almost 20 years, so I was very happy she was there and she was also nominated tonight, which was wonderful." She quipped once again, "Yes, what an a**hole."
