AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen reminds her fans that she has a role in "The Devil Wears Prada" with her new campaign. The former Victoria's Secret angel channels her character in the movie for her project with Balmain.
Recently, Balmain published a series of photos for its new campaign featuring the 43-year-old supermodel, who portrays Serena in the 2006 film. In some of the black-and-white pictures, it could be seen that she was showing off her jaw-dropping figure in various daring outfits.
One of the snaps saw Gisele rocking a short-sleeved black dress that came with a very plunging neckline. The dress, which was long enough to reach the floor, featured a thigh-high slit that allowed the wearer to expose her long legs.
The Brazilian model, who had a bold makeup on her face, completed the look with a pair of black-and-white pointed-toe high heels and a handbag. She accessorized herself with two huge bracelets. In addition, her long blonde tresses were styled in a sleek hairdo.
Another black-and-white snap captured Gisele sporting a long-sleeved black blazer, which had a white collar. She ditched her bra as she wore the outer unbuttoned. She paired the top with a black mini skirt that featured five sparkling embellishments on its front side.
The blonde beauty, who donned a pair of big earrings, was photographed carrying a black-and-white handbag. She placed one of her hands under her chin while looking in another direction with a stern facial expression.
The fashion house's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, explained the reason why he felt that Gisele was perfect for the campaign. In a press release, Olivier said, "Deciding on the spirit, focus, attitude and star of the spring campaign was just as easy: Gisele. Of course, it had to be Rafael's compatriot, Gisele Bundchen."
"One of the reasons that I was so obsessed with Gisele as a teenager was her amazing personality," he continued. "I mean, obviously, she's a legendary beauty, but her breathtaking beauty is somehow transformed into something even more powerful when combined with that genuine happiness and confidence that she has been continually projecting for over twenty years, both on the runway and on those countless covers and editorials that I've always torn out and kept as inspirations."
