AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has proven that she is supportive to other artists, including Lady GaGa. Shortly after GaGa shut down a rumor suggesting that she is pregnant, the "All Too Well" hitmaker came to the "Poker Face" singer's defense.
On Wednesday, June 5, the 34-year-old superstar blasted those who commented on GaGa's body. In the comment section of GaGa's new video on TikTok, she penned, "Can we all agree that its invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman's body."
The "Shake It Off" singer went on to declare, "Gaga doesn't owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman." Near the end of her comment, she let out a kiss mark emoji. It did not take long for the comment to receive nearly 300,000 likes and 5,000 responses from TikTok users.
Most of the responses, including those from several users who showered Taylor with praise, were positive. One in particular penned, "Very well said, love you always, mother." Another chimed in, "Mother and Mother Monster. I'm a proud little monster swifties." A third noted, "YOU ARE RIGHT TAYYYY!! ppl(especially media) should learn that woman body is not smth they can comment." A fourth simply added, "You're so real for this."
Taylor defended GaGa after the latter made headlines for sparking a pregnancy rumor. Over the weekend (June 1 or 2), GaGa attended a rehearsal dinner for her sister Natali Germanotta's wedding at a luxury hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the small town of York, Maine. A series of photos from the family gathering were published by The U.S. Sun on Monday, June 3. In the pictures, GaGa had what looks like a baby bump.
In response to the speculation, the "Bad Romance" songstress made use of her TikTok page to shut down the rumor. On Tuesday, May 4, the 38-year-old Grammy Award winner uploaded a video featuring a message that read, "not pregnant-- just down bad cryin at the gym."
