After trying on some bridal dresses at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan, the former 'Real Housewives of New York City' star admits that she 'almost started crying' during the fitting.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Bensimon revealed that she "almost started crying" during her wedding dress fitting. The former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" was filled with overwhelming feelings when she found the perfect gown for her special day.
In a new interview published on Wednesday, June 5, the former reality TV star, who is currently 56 years old, opened up about her feelings as she prepared for her big day. She recalled what she felt when she went to Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan days prior.
Speaking to Page Six, Kelly said, "Literally, when I was trying on the dress, I almost started crying." On the reason why, she explained, "I was just like, 'I'm just so emotional,' just because it's so beautiful and everyone here has been so supportive and excited for me."
The TV personality went on to state, "I'm just very moved by the whole process." She then elaborated, "I'm getting married later in life and I never thought this would happen and I just would not change this day and the leading up to it."
During the chat, Kelly also shared her opinions on bridal dresses at the Kleinfeld Bridal, "It's all pearl dresses, lace dresses, taffeta dresses, longer dresses, shorter dresses, tighter dresses, bigger dresses," before noting that it was "impossible" to fall in love with only one gown. She gushed, "Everything is so unique and it's so much fun. It's like a fairytale. It's literally unbelievable."
The "I Can Make You Hot!" author further revealed what style she was looking for. "Obviously, I'm a queen, but I want to play like a princess," she spilled. "So I needed both vibes. I needed to definitely give off my queen vibes but also be my playful self."
Kelly additionally shared, "I didn't realize how excited and beautiful I would feel in the dress. I wear a lot of dresses. I've modeled since the Ice Age. I've worn a lot of beautiful clothes and putting on [this] wedding dress is magic."
Kelly has been busy preparing for her wedding to her fiance Scott Litner. She and the financier are set to hold their nuptials in the backyard of his family home this year. The two got engaged in July 2023 at Lake Geneva following one year of dating.
