AceShowbiz - Finesse2Tymes has finally got his long-overdue driver's license. The "Thought It Was Over" rapper celebrated the new milestone with his online devotees on his Instagram account.
On Wednesday, May 29, the 31-year-old shared a picture of his waiting ticket at the Texas Department of Public Safety in Houston to "change, replace or renew Texas ID." He began his caption, "This just to show how far I'm behind in life, 32 years old, And I never had a drivers license [crying emoji]."
"When the average 16-17 year old was taking their drivers license test, I was out stealing cars and selling them to make a living," the Memphis native added. "I'm just now getting my life in order, Thank god for giving me the strength to get my mental, physical, and spiritual health together, Its time to organize and structure my life, I'm the one gone break the generational curse."
The post has since been flooded with positive comments from fans. "It's Capital G in God but it's never to late to do better proud of u," one person wrote, while another added, "Congratulations, big accomplishment you came along way."
A third encouraged the emcee, "That's what's sup! It doesn't matter how long it took you to wake up and want better, as long as your in the process of bettering things then your on the right path. . Good luck keep going!!!!" Someone else chimed in, "It's never to late to do the right s**t bro."
Finesse2Tymes has been making major changes in his lifestyle. Back in March, the musician lamented being at "war" with himself, so he needs prayers from fans to start over.
At the time, the "Back End" spitter shared a video of himself standing in his kitchen looking uncomfortable and sweating. In the clip, he was seen struggling as he drank water and ate some fruit from a container.
Finesse2tymes claimed he's taken on 21 days of only drinking water and eating fruit. In the caption, he wrote, "This my 4th time starting over. But u know how the saying goes , U fall down 9 time get up 10 times."
"I use to think money solved everthing , Until I got money , Now I'm struggling on mental,physical,spiritual journey," the artist, born Ricky Hampton, added. "If u have a heart pray for me , I'm at war with myself."
