Christian Richard Dumontet has been officially charged with child abuse/endangerment, assault and violation of a protection order after a domestic violence incident in March.

AceShowbiz - Christine Quinn's estranged husband Christian Richard Dumontet has been formally charged after the headline-making domestic violence incident in March. According to a new report, Christian was charged with child abuse/endangerment, assault and violation of a protection order.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ on Wednesday, May 8 that the Los Angeles County District Attorney decided the case did not meet felony filing requirements. As for Christine, the former star of "Selling Sunset" seemingly happy with the charges given to her ex.

The realtor's attorney, Jacqueline Sparagna, told Page Six that they are "extremely satisfied" with the LAPD's office's decision. "He has now been formally charged with child abuse against his 2-year-old toddler, assault against Christine Quinn, and for violating a restraining order,” Jacqueline said in a statement.

"We believe this development is a crucial step toward safeguarding the legal and personal interests of both victims and trust that the matter will continue to be handled with the utmost seriousness it deserves," the attorney added.

Christian was arrested on March 19 after he allegedly threw a bag of glass at Christine. However, the bag missed her and allegedly hit their 2-year-old son instead. In her restraining order, Christine claimed that the software engineer suffers from serious mental health issues, including bipolar, mania and schizophrenia.

It was said that the former couple had an argument after the former reality TV star said she voiced her "dissatisfaction" with their relationship. "He narrowly missed hitting me with one of the metal rods, but I was struck by one of boxes he threw," she claimed in court documents. “He then opened a can of Red Bull and threw that across the room as well, making more of a mess … and returned a short time later, and threw dog feces at me, which he pulled out of the trash," she continued, adding that Christian “pulled out his penis and began to urinate on the floor."

Christian filed for divorce from Christine on April 5, less than two weeks after the incident. In his divorce petition, he cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. He sought to block Christine from asking for spousal support from him and wants the court to determine the division of assets and property.
