The Canadian actor mocks the Australian hunk's adamantium claw as he also shares a new poster for 'Deadpool and Wolverine' before the release of the new trailer on Monday, April 22.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds has announced a new trailer for "Deadpool & Wolverine". Ahead of the release of the new trailer, the actor made use of his social media pages across different platforms to post a teaser for the film.

The teaser showcases plenty of old footage from previous "X-Men" movies mixed with new scenes from the upcoming movie. It sees Hugh Jackman's Wolverine dying at the end of 2017's "Logan" with a crying Laura (Dafne Keen) by his side.

The footage is set to a dramatic narration by Reynolds' Wade Wilson. "Look, eventually, you're gonna hang up the claws, and it's gonna make a lot of people very sad," he says in the teaser. "But one day your old pal Wade is gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes. I've always wanted to ride with you, Log, Deadpool and Wolverine."

The teaser ends with a reveal that the new trailer will be released in full on Monday, April 22. "Tomorrow is always just a day away," Reynolds captioned the video.

The "Deadpool" star also posted a new poster for the threequel, giving a close look at his hand touching Wolverine's adamantium claw. "Hugh got his nails done for this," he wrote in the caption, prompting Jackman to retort, "Not done, sharpened."

On X, formerly Twitter, Reynolds shared an extended version of "Deadpool 2" post-credits scenes featuring Wolverine. Using footage from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", it shows the final-act face-off between Wolverine and Wade, who had been transformed into an experimental hybrid of other mutants' abilities with his mouth sewn shut. That's when the Deadpool of "Deadpool 2" pops in.

The extended version shows Deadpool's longer dialog, which is similar to the narration in the "Deadpool 3" teaser. "It took seven years and a lot of begging but my Deadpool 2 end credit dreams finally came true...," Reynolds informed his followers about his attempt to make Deadpool and Wolverine's reunion happen.

Meanwhile, Jackman shared the same teaser on his own Instagram page and wrote along with it, "Patience isn't my strong suit. Trailer tomorrow." Posting the new poster, he added in the caption, "Ketchup and mustard. Hold the ketchup."

"Deadpool & Wolverine", directed by Shawn Levy, is set to open in U.S. theaters on July 26.
