AceShowbiz - After just one season on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", Annemarie Wiley has been fired. The nurse anesthesiologist and mother of four announced her departure on Instagram, expressing disappointment over the decision.
Wiley joined the show as a friend of Kyle Richards, but quickly became embroiled in drama with Sutton Stracke over the size of Stracke's esophagus. Wiley questioned Stracke's medical condition, leading to backlash from viewers and fellow cast members.
In her statement, Wiley claims that she was "instructed to do" what was shown on TV and that she regrets listening. She also reveals that she was "excited" about the opportunity but was disappointed that viewers never saw "the real me."
Wiley also mentions her personal struggles, including the loss of her mother and adoption trauma. She had hoped to share her story and "show a solid black family unit" on the show.
However, Bravo executives decided not to renew Wiley's contract. Wiley thanked fans who "saw the REAL me" and wished her former co-stars "good luck on the next season."
Wiley's firing has sparked disappointment among some fans, who felt that she deserved a second chance. The 14th season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is set to begin filming next month, and the cast has not yet been announced.
