However, the honchos at the NBC long-running singing competition show are pleased to see them feuding because it might make the current season 25 a must-watch TV show.

AceShowbiz - Season 25 of "The Voice" allegedly featured behind-the-scenes tension between the coaches. If a new report is to be believed, Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay are feuding even though Reba initially welcomed the country duo to the show.

"Dan and Shay are such nice guys, there were fears the two of them would just defer to Reba," a source told National Enquirer (via Radar Online) in a report published on Friday, March 15. "But it's turning into the opposite - they're at each other's throats!"

The insider added, "And Dan and Shay say Reba may be the country queen, but they got her outnumbered!" The informant, however, claimed that Reba is ready to send the "Road Trippin' " singers, who mark the first coach duo in the show's history, home.

It was also noted that the executives at "The Voice" were initially hesitant to have two country acts as coaches. However, they are now pleased to see them in competition against each other because it might positively impact on the ratings.

The new report pointed out that Reba started the war against Dan + Shay in the second episode of "The Voice" season 25. At the time, the 68-year-old country legend blocked the pair from making contestant Donny Van Slee join their team.

The two were allegedly furious by the act as Dan said, "I mean Reba blocked us, the new guys. How rude. I thought she was a nice lady." He continued, "You started the battle. So guess what, buckle up, Reba. We're coming for you." Just minutes later, Dan + Shay used their block on Reba after contestant Karen Waldrup hit the stage.

Shay yelled, "Vengeance is sweet!" Dan added, "Man, blocked the Queen of Country Music. Put that one on the resume." Fellow coach John Legend also chimed in, "I think we have a little war starting."
