AceShowbiz - Landon Barker has announced that he and Charli D'Amelio have ended their romantic relationship. Despite calling it quits with his then-girlfriend, the son of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler may want to keep his memories with the "Dancing with the Stars" winner alive through their photos.
As of Wednesday, February 7, it could be seen that the 20-year-old singer has not removed a number of pictures featuring himself and the 19-year-old TikTok star from his Instagram account. In the meantime, she appeared to have deleted her snaps with him on her own Instagram page.
Earlier that same day, Landon made the announcement about him and Charli breaking up on Instagram Story. Over a black screen, the "Friends With Ux EX" singer wrote, "Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together." On the reason why, he shared, "We broke up to focus on ourselves."
The "Die in California" crooner went on to voice his gratitude for all the time he spent together with the star of "The D'Amelio Show". He penned, "I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions." He then concluded, "Thank you, love you all so much." On the other hand, she has not issued a statement on the matter.
Landon and Charli, who have adopted a dog named Moody from an animal shelter in Nashville, Tennessee together, started their relationship in June 2022. Around one year into their romance, he made a brave move by getting a huge tattoo of her eye on his arm after losing a rock, paper, scissors game to her.
About her reaction at the time, the reality TV star recalled in an interview with PEOPLE, "[I] didn't think he was actually going to go through with it." She explained, "Basically, he was like, 'I have to get a tattoo tomorrow. What should I get?' And I was like, 'Oh my goodness, you should get my face.' He was like, 'Really? I'll do it.' and I was like, 'Rock, paper, scissors,' and I won."
