In her new interview, the former Spice Girl, who is married to soccer star David Beckham, also confesses that she initially 'never enjoyed watching football.'

AceShowbiz - Victoria Beckham (Victoria Adams) appears to learn a lot after filming the Netflix documentary series "Beckham". In a new interview, the fashion designer admitted that she found the experience "quite liberating."

"I was very mindful that usually, when I did my filming, I would be controlling," the 49-year-old wife of David Beckham shared with the Financial Times. "But this was very much about David, and so I took the approach of, 'I'm just going to be very easy‑going here.' "

The former Spice Girls member added that more people appeared to find them more approachable after the release of the show. "People come up and they're like, 'We love the documentary.' Let me tell you … They used to be scared to approach," she noted.

As for David, the soccer icon said that filming "Beckham" was "an emotional rollercoaster." During his David Beckham Fragrances Launch Party at New York City restaurant, Torrisi on October 11, he revealed to the guests, "It wasn't easy and it was an emotional rollercoaster over the last two and a half years but I think we've produced something that my team can be very proud of." The former athlete added that it was "a huge honor" for him to collaborate with "Beckham" director Fisher Stevens and Netflix for the project.

In the new interview, Victoria also confessed that she initially "never enjoyed watching football." However, things had changed after attending Inter Miami FC games in support of her husband.

"I never felt necessarily wanted [at the matches]. I'm not saying this as in, poor me, but it was never the fun that it is now. Now, when we're in Miami, I feel wanted," Victoria shared. "I'm friends with the families of the players."

She continued, "All of a sudden, I found myself on the pitch. The club wanted pictures of the family and the trophy. And that was the first time a club had ever entertained the family as well. Since [Lionel Messi] turned up, the energy has gone to a whole other level. It's a whole other experience. It's fun."
