The 'Umbrella Academy' star is set to play a key role on 'Terminal List: Dark Wolf' which will see Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt reprising their roles from the original series.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hopper has been cast on "Terminal List: Dark Wolf". It has been announced that "The Umbrella Academy" star will play a key role on the upcoming "The Terminal List" prequel series on Amazon's Prime Video.

Prime Video revealed on Friday, January 26 that Hopper will be playing a Navy SEAL named Raife Hastings, joining cast members Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch and Jared Shaw. His character is described as "a hunter, protector, guardian and Navy SEAL."

Announced in February 2023, "Terminal List: Dark Wolf" is set five years before the events of the original military-thriller show "The Terminal List". It will explore the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.

Pratt, Kitsch and Shaw will be reprising their roles from the 2022 series, James Reece, Ben Edwards and Ernest "Boozer" Vickers respectively. The new series will focus on Kitsch's Edwards and tracks his journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator.

"The Terminal List" showrunner David DiGilio and Jack Carr, author of the books upon which the franchise is based, create "Terminal List: Dark Wolf". Both DiGilio and Carr serve as executive producers for the prequel.

Also executive producing the new series are Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Hill District Media. Former Army Ranger Max Adams and former SEAL Shaw are additionally on board as writers and executive producers alongside Frederick E.O. Toye, who will direct the pilot. "Dark Wolf" is a co-production from Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center, Media.

In addition to the prequel series, Prime Video confirmed that "The Terminal List" will return for a second season, which will adapt Carr's book "True Believer". "Jack Carr is probably the most disciplined writer I know, incredibly prolific," DiGilio shared with Entertainment Weekly back in 2022. "So we are very lucky to have multiple seasons ahead of us."
