The 'Queer Eye' star jokes he wants to 'end up dying of a Taco Bell overdose' as he opens up about a family tragedy that made him want to live as long as possible.

AceShowbiz - Jonathan Van Ness wants to live as long as possible because his uncle was killed in a car crash as a teenager. The 36-year-old hairstylist said that he has been "obsessed with avoiding death" ever since his family was rocked by a tragic accident many years ago and as a result is hoping to become a centenarian.

"When I was 107, I ended up dying of a Taco Bell overdose. I wanna get really old. And I've always been like that. Yeah. I've been obsessed with avoiding death since I was a child. I just really like waking up. I really do, I love waking up," he told host Kathy Burke when asked what his potential death may look like on the "Where There's a Will There's a Wake" podcast.

"That's part of it. In my family, my mom's older brother was killed in a car accident when he was 19 and I feel like from a really young age, we talked about my Uncle Tommy a lot. The loss him and the way that reverberated through my family and really reverberates in my family to this day, it's not really the process of death that scares me. I just - I really wanna wake up!"

The "Queer Eye" star struggles with the idea of death and even wants to have his cat cloned to make sure he never has to part with him. He said, "I'm just not a fan of death. I miss the people and I miss my cats and sometimes I wanna clone all my animals but there's all these animals that need a home. My oldest cat, Larry, I wanna clone him. He's 10. I would feel good about 17 for Larry, he just turned 10 and I feel like he got a bit skinty. So we've been at the vet."
