In addition to the 'Drivers License' singer and the 'Thor: Love and Thunder' actress, Margot Robbie, Carey Mulligan and Emily Blunt hit the red carpet in black dresses.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Rodrigo and Natalie Portman looked in sync in their matching outfits for a star-studded event. When making an appearance at the 14th Governors Awards, the "Drivers License" hitmaker and the "Thor: Love and Thunder" actress opted to wear timeless black gowns.

On Tuesday, January 9, Olivia arrived at the show, which was held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles, in a simple yet classy black dress. The 20-year-old singer looked elegant as she wore the gown that came with an off-the-shoulder and sleeveless design.

While the upper part of the dress came in a matte black color, its lower part was glossy, seemingly made of satin. The floor-length gown, which was tight enough to shape her figure, covered her feet as well as shoes.

Similarly, Natalie appeared stunning in a sleeveless black dress that had a gold chain on the wearer's shoulders to serve as two straps. The "Avengers: Endgame" actress showed off her chest as the long gown, which nearly covered her pair of black high heels, came with a huge cut-out on its bodice.

Olivia and Natalie appeared to have brushed shoulders with other famous stars who also hit the red carpet at the 14th annual event. Among them was Angela Bassett, who flaunted her toned arms in her sleeveless outfit. In contrast to Olivia and Natalie, Angela opted to wear a sparkling dress in a champagne color.

The "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" actress' gown, which featured a silver belt on the wearer's tummy, was semi see-through and partly covered in shimmering embellishments. Its lower part came with a tulle veil that flared out.

Aside from Angela, fellow actress Eva Longoria dazzled in a shimmering dress at the show. The former "Telenovela" star showcased her fit physique in a long green dress that had sequins all over it. The gown came with two big cut-outs on both of its sides, exposing her skin.

In addition, other well-known figures dressed to the nines at the Governors Awards. Among them were Margot Robbie, Carey Mulligan and Emily Blunt, who stepped on the red carpet in black dresses, Florence Pugh and Emma Stone, who sported glittery pink dresses, as well as Penelope Cruz, Marlee Matlin and Glenn Close, who donned all-white ensembles.
