The 39-year-old 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' star makkes the confession about her rehab stint after she got arrested on drug possession charges back on August 20.

AceShowbiz - Tommie Lee has decided to go sober to welcome 2024. During a recent Instagram Live, the "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star revealed that she went to rehab for alcohol.
"I was in rehab for alcohol," the 39-year-old TV personality began. "I had to get away from that s**t, that s**t felt like jail. I had to take a break, I'mma go back tomorrow though for sure."
"I have to find somebody else," she continued. "The first thing I wanted to do when I got in that motherf**ker was have a drink. Looking at all the people around me, I just needed a drink. When I got past that, it was just like, 'What the f**k am I doing here, bro? This s**t is corny. This s**t is crazy.' "
Tommie went on to share, "So I came home, and I popped it with my friend. Judge me judge me, please." She continued, "I don't give a f**k. I'm not staying in a place like that. That s**t's like jail, voluntarily jail."
Tommie made the confession after she got arrested on drug possession charges on August 20. Her team denied the drug possession allegation though, claiming that she carried her friend's epilepsy medication, not cocaine.
Tommie herself set the record straight during an Instagram Live. She insisted that she didn't use or possess coke but admitted that she was around a lot of people who use the drug.
During her rant, Tommie also blamed an "overzealous cop" for overblowing the arrest. She went on to fume, "Stop this nonsense we're not going to keep trying to run with this very tired story... It's not me will never be that drug doesn't fit my aesthetic at all STOP IT!!"
