Despite reports suggesting that the actress had agreed to meditate on the custody issues privately with her baby daddy, a source close to her insists that the TRO 'remains in full force and effect.'

AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer isn't dropping the restraining order she has against Darius Jackson. Despite reports suggesting that the "Nope" star had agreed to meditate on the custody issues privately with her ex, a source close to the actress said the TRO "remains in full force and effect."

"The restraining order that Keke was granted in November remains in full force and effect and will not be dropped," a source said in a statement, according to The Shade Room. "Keke will continue to protect her safety and the safety of Leo above all else."

"Keke has pressed charges, the police report has been filed, the criminal investigation by the police is continuing," the source added, "The hearing is still on the calendar, as planned. Darius' lawyer is not available on Dec 5 so the calendar date will move to January."

The insider went on to note, "Keke is concerned about her privacy, Leo's privacy and the privacy of her family so her preference is to resolve the situation privately rather than in open court if possible." They then elaborate, "But if not possible the hearing remains on the calendar and Keke will stop at nothing to ensure a safe and healthy outcome for herself and Leo."

It was previously reported that Keke and Darius began discussions regarding their custody issues on Wednesday, November 29. They allegedly have agreed to continue those conversations at a "mutually agreeable date."

Keke was given a temporary restraining order against her baby daddy earlier in November. In her request, the "Scream Queens" alum admitted she was "very concerned" about being able to keep their son safe without measures in place.

"I am very concerned for Leo's safety with Darius given his violent, volatile, and jealous nature, comments he has made which have caused me grave concern, and the lack of restraint Darius has already exhibited regarding his temper in front of our son," she stated. Darius now must stay at least 100 yards away from the mom-and-son duo, as well as any childcare settings the boy attends. He is not allowed to have visitation with the baby.
