AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer's ex got things off his chest in new social media posts. Darius Jackson spoke out about getting "mentally, emotionally & physically" drained in an effort to see their son Leodis.
Darius expressed his frustrations on X, formerly Twitter on Monday, February 5. "When I tell you that they make men go thru hoops when it comes to seeing their own kids. Then they have the audacity to throw the fatherless home statistic at your face. Let alone, make you feel honored to get any type of time w/ your own child," he penned.
"I feel for the dads that gave up when it came to custody. It's mentally, emotionally & physically draining," he added in a follow-up post. "You'll lose yourself. My spirit is too strong to give up. But I totally understand. I have pondered it. Thank God I have an amazing circle."
Darius went on to share a piece of advice for those who have yet to embark on parenthood. "Wait til marriage & make sure God is the center of your relationship. There's a rule book that's been given to us thousands of years ago. Best to follow it. Cause everything else leads to chaos," he stated.
In December 2023, Darius himself filed a restraining order against Keke, claiming that the "Alice" star had been "physically abusive" during their relationship. He asked a judge for a temporary domestic violence restraining order requiring the star to stay 100 yards away from him, per TMZ.
In his petition, Darius alleged that Keke "repeatedly engaged in abusive conduct" and "acted as the primary aggressor" toward him during their two-year relationship.
