Eric McCormack's Estranged Wife Janet Holden Ditches Wedding Ring After Filing for Divorce

A few days after submitting divorce papers to court, the estranged wife of the 'Will and Grace' star is spotted heading to a car repair shop without her wedding band on that finger.

AceShowbiz - Janet Holden has stepped out for the first time since filing for divorce from Eric McCormack. The estranged wife of the actor portraying Will Truman on "Will & Grace" ditched her wedding ring during a new outing.

In pictures making their rounds online on Wednesday, November 29, it could be clearly seen that Janet's wedding band was missing from her finger. In the photos, the assistant director of "The Edge" was out and about in Sherman Oaks, California. She was photographed making her way to a car repair shop.

Throughout the outing, the "Lonesome Dove" assistant director appeared in good spirits. She was seen smiling from ear-to-ear at the camera in some of the snaps. She was carrying a black book, matching bag and brown paper box in both of her hands. At one point, she was pictured having a conversation with an unidentified man.

At that time, Janet was wearing a long-sleeved purple flannel shirt that came with white and blue checkered patterns as well as a pair of long blue straight jeans. She also donned a pair of brown sunglasses, black sneakers, a brown leather belt and sparkling cross silver necklace. In addition, her long hair was parted to the side and styled into two braids with bright yellow hair ties.

Janet Holden was spotted without her wedding in a first sighting after filing for divorce from Eric McCormack.

The new sighting came less than one week after Janet filed for divorce from her estranged husband Eric. In legal documents, which were submitted to court on Wednesday, November 22 and obtained by TMZ, she wrote "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their breakup and "to be determined" as the date of their separation.

In the files, Janet reportedly demanded spousal support and wanted "to end the court's ability to award Eric spousal support." She did not ask for child support as the two "do not have any minor children together." Furthermore, It is still unclear if they have a prenuptial agreement in place.

As for Eric, the "Travelers" star kept his wedding ring on when he was spotted for the first time following the divorce filing. On Friday, November 24, the 60-year-old Canadian actor was caught on camera sporting a gold band on that finger. He was grabbing a cup of drink and a box of food from a cafe in Los Angeles while being accompanied by his dog.

Eric and Janet have been married for twenty six years after holding a wedding ceremony back in August 1997. The two share 21-year-old son Finnigan Holden McCormack together.
