A few days after being slapped with divorce papers by his estranged wife, the former 'Will and Grace' star apparently has not ditched his sparkling gold wedding band.

AceShowbiz - Eric McCormack has stepped out for the first time after Janet Holden filed for divorce from him. A few days following the divorce filing, the actor portraying Will Truman on "Will & Grace" apparently is still wearing his wedding ring.

In pictures making their rounds online on Friday, November 24, the 60-year-old Canadian actor was spotted out and about in Los Angeles. In the photos, it could be clearly seen that he has not ditched his wedding ring as he had a sparkling gold band on that finger. He was strolling around with his brown-and-white furred dog that walked next to him without a leash.

Throughout the day out, Eric did not appear in good spirits. At one point, he was photographed wrapping a blue dog leash around his neck since he didn't have a free hand. He carried a paper bag of food and cup of drink after seemingly grabbing them from a nearby cafe.

For the stroll, the actor portraying Grant MacLaren on "Travelers" opted to wear a casual ensemble, consisting of a burgundy tee with a high-neck design, navy blue hoodie with white zipper, and a pair of beige shorts. To complete the look, he put on a pair of black Hoka running shoes with matching laces and white soles, clear glasses that he tucked in his top as well as a gray-and-white hat with graphics on it.

The new sighting came a few days after Eric was slapped with divorce papers by his estranged wife Janet. In new legal documents, which were submitted to court on Wednesday, November 22 and obtained by TMZ, she wrote "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their breakup. However, she did not offer a date of their separation.

In the court documents, the assistant director of "The Edge" allegedly asked for spousal support and wanted "to end the court's ability to award Eric spousal support." In addition, she did not ask for child support as the two "do not have any minor children together." It is unclear if the two have a prenuptial agreement in place.

Eric and Janet were married for twenty six years after tying the knot back in August 1997. The wedded couple has 21-year-old son Finnigan Holden McCormack together.
