A few days after agreeing to settle the 'Me and U' singer's lawsuit, the 'I'll Be Missing You' rapper is hit with similar accusations by another woman, whom he met in 1991.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs is facing a new legal problem following Cassie's lawsuit settlement. Shortly after being accused of rape, drugging and revenge porn by another woman, the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper quickly denied the allegations.

On Thursday, November 23, the 54-year-old hip-hop artist, through his spokesperson, issued a statement to a number of media outlets. "This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head," the spokesperson stated, making a reference to New York's Adult Survivors Act, which "allows people to pursue claims against alleged abusers regardless of the statute of limitations" and expires on Friday.

"Ms. Dickerson's 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her, and she implicates companies that did not exist. This is purely a money grab and nothing more," the spokesperson went on to insist.

The statement came after Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit against the hip-hop mogul to Manhattan Supreme Court earlier that same day. In the papers obtained by some media outlets, she alleged that Diddy raped and drugged her when she was a Syracuse University student back in 1991. She claimed that it all happened in January 1991 after she "reluctantly agreed to an early dinner with" him.

Joi, through her lawyers, alleged that Diddy "videotaped his crime and distributed the tape to others in the music industry, causing severe harm to Ms. Dickerson-Neal's reputation, career prospects, and emotional well-being." They also wrote that he sexually assaulted her and "made a video recording of the 'revenge porn' which he distributed throughout New York state, all without her consent."

According to the docs, member of the R&B group Jodeci, DeVante Swing, told Joi that "he and other men saw her 'sex tape' at the studio." However, DeVante allegedly said that "he was afraid of speaking out against [Diddy] because Jodeci could lose their record deal." In addition to Diddy, Bad Boy Records and Combs Enterprises are mentioned as defendants in the lawsuit.

Furthermore, the lawyers spilled to Daily Beast that Joi was introduced to Diddy by their mutual friends. Joi and Diddy once worked together as she appeared in a music video of Finesse and Synquis' track titled "Straight From The Soul". The MV, which also featured Diddy, was released back in 1990.

A few days prior to the new lawsuit, Diddy faced a similar one filed by Cassie, who accused him of rape, abuse and sex trafficking that all happened during their on-off relationship from 2007 to 2018. He, through his attorney, vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "baseless and outrageous lies." On November 17, the two agreed to settle the lawsuit. Though so, his attorney insisted that the settlement was not an "admission of wrongdoing" by his client.
