In addition to the Danity Kane, rapper 50 Cent weighs in on news about Cassie and Diddy's lawsuit settlement, saying that the Bad Boy Records founder must have 'paid that money real quick.'

AceShowbiz - Aubrey O'Day was not too happy that Cassie had agreed to settle her rape lawsuit against Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Despite being filled with dismay, the Danity Kane member applauded the "Me and U" singer for being "brave."

The 39-year-old initially expressed her disappointment on Instagram Story and X (formerly Twitter). "Money > accountability. Every time. Welcome to another chapter of the system is well in place," she wrote on Saturday, November 18.

Aubrey, who previously showed her support for Cassie, later clarified her statement. "I WAS TALKING ABOUT DIDDY NOT CASSIE. she told her story, she was brave. the person needed to hold themself accountable was PUFF, NOT HER. Justice is a word that means nothing to those that can afford it's grasp," she penned on X.

When a fan asked, "The whole point was for a settlement. Why is this point being missed?!?" Aubrey explained, "for her it's looks like the point was a settlement." She added, "For a lot of others who won't ever get a settlement.. they were hoping for accountability."

Also reacting to the news was 50 Cent. "LOL He paid that money real quick, should have done that before the sharks saw the blood in the water and here they come in 5,4,3,2,1 every woman he put his hand on," the "In Da Club" hitmaker noted in a since-deleted Instagram post.

Cassie sued Diddy for alleged rape, abuse and sex trafficking. However, just one day after filing the lawsuit, the singer/actress announced that she and her ex have "amicably" settled the issue.

"I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control," the 37-year-old said in a statement released on Friday. "I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."

Diddy, for his part, declared, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love." The rapper and his former partner, however, didn't disclose details about the terms of the settlement.
