AceShowbiz - Olivia Rodrigo has unleashed a dramatic music video for "Can't Catch Me Now" for "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes". Unveiled on Monday, November 13, the video features some never-before-seen scenes from the movie.

It opens with a look at the Grammy winner singing and strumming her guitar in a shack set on a scenic and tranquil landscape. The footage is interspersed with scenes from the movie, which highlight Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) and Lucy Gray Baird's (Rachel Zegler) romantic relationship and their dynamics during the Hunger Games.

As the song reaches it climax, Rodrigo is seen running through the field while Baird is seen fighting for her life in the deadly game. The footage is set to an upbeat drum rhythm in the chorus.

On the same day the music video was released, Rodrigo attended the premiere of the film in Los Angeles.

Rodrigo announced on her social media pages on November 1 that she would be releasing "Can't Catch Me Now" as part of "The Hunger Games" prequel's soundtrack album. She penned the song with producer Daniel Nigro. It marks the first time the "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" alum contributes to a film's soundtrack. The music video, meanwhile, was directed by award-winning director Leonn Ward of RSA's Black Dog Films.

"soooo beyond excited that I got the opportunity to write a song for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes," the "vampire" hitmaker wrote while previewing the song earlier this month. She added, "my song 'Can't Catch Me Now' comes out November 3rd!!!"

"The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" follows the events that eventually lead a young Coriolanus Snow on the path to becoming the tyrannical leader of Panem, including his relationship with the Hunger Games tribute Lucy Gray Baird. It will be released in theaters across the nation on November 17.
