AceShowbiz - Cardi B has had enough of haters. The "Bongos" raptress was forced to defend herself after facing backlash on social media for wishing death on one of her online critics.
The 31-year-old had to deal with trolls after one user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote, "cardi the only mexican I know that dont work hard." Catching wind of the post, the femcee fired back, "Hope you and ur mom die."
Cardi's response didn't sit well with many online users. "It's power in the tongue. Gotta be careful how you speak," one person argued, while another fumed, "SHE HOPES [SOMEONE'S] MOM DIES [IN FRONT] OF MILLIONS because she was called MEXICAN!? PSYCHOTIC."
A different individual penned, "Keep wishing death on people and watch how it come back on you." Replying to the last comment, Cardi wrote, "Idgaf f**k y'all ...y'all can call me Mexican bring me down ,hurt my feelings talk s**t bout everything this why I don't release music."
Cardi is no stranger to slamming haters. In September, she lashed out at those spreading rumors about her husband Offset's infidelity. She penned on X, "Exactly…The fact that they had to watch a 24 hour stream to fake piece things together is EMBARRASSING!!! They some do bads lmaaoooooo."
The Grammy winner was replying to a fan tweet that read, "Yall are lying and just putting random clips together. They were laughing because they caught him sleeping, and that's definitely his brand manager/cousin." Along with it, the fan uploaded a video that featured a note on it that read, "[Kai Cenat] caught Offset trying to sneakily sleep upstairs during their 24 hour stream."
