A few months after announcing her pregnancy, the 'Mean Girls' actress shows off the 'peaceful and playful' nursery room she prepared for her baby that was inspired by 'the beach.'

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan did not hold back her excitement as an expectant mother. As she counted down to the arrival of her first child, the "Mean Girls" actress happily treated social media users to a sneak peek at her "dream nursery."
On Wednesday, July 12, the 37-year-old star unleashed a joint Instagram post with @nestigbaby that offered pictures of her baby's room. In the caption, she wrote, "So excited to show you my nursery & the collection I designed with @nestigbaby! Everything is inspired by the beach and is so peaceful and playful."
The "Falling for Christmas" actress additionally detailed, "I loved working with @nestigbaby to create my dream nursery-everything is handmade and perfect for any little one in your life!" She then encouraged others to buy her collection by concluding, "You can shop my full collection at the link in bio! [yellow heart emoji] #nestigpartner."
Through the photos Lindsay shared, it could be seen that the actress chose beach as the theme for the room which is dominated with white and blue colors with a little touch of wooden brown. The room was also decorated with a big brown teddy bear, a white-colored rug, wooden baby bed, and baby clothes racks.
Among the pictures posted, Lindsay could be seen posing in front of a baby bed with one hand resting on her baby bump. For the photo session, she donned a sleeveless long white lace dress that came with thick straps. She styled her long red hair in loose curls and parted it to the side.
A few months before revealing her "dream nursery" room, Lindsay broke the news that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, are expecting their baby number one. In a March post on Instagram, she let out a picture of white baby onesie with black graphics that read, "Coming soon." Along with the post, she wrote, "We are blessed and excited! [prayer, white heart and baby emojis] (sic)."
