AceShowbiz - Momma Dee has become a victim of a hit-and-run accident. The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star is left nursing some injuries after someone allegedly slammed into her parked car with her inside and then got away with it.
Momma Dee told TMZ that she was going to a Sephora store in Atlanta last Wednesday, July 5. She parked on a busy street and as she was about to get out of her car, her car was struck by another driver in a black Ford sedan.
The mother of Lil Scrappy said the driver continued to drive off after the crash. She described the driver as a woman in a video after the accident. "She hit me and ran," she said in the video obtained by the site.
Momma Dee was treated in an ambulance and she was seen holding the pain while receiving assistance to get off the ambulance. She then showed the damage done to her car due to the accident.
Momma Dee herself ended up with bumps, bruises and scratches, which she said are just minor. She also shared a photo of her injuries, which are visible on her arm, to the outlet. She said police are still working to locate the person responsible.
Following the accident, some "LHH" fans jokingly connected the crash to Lil Scrappy's divorce from Bambi. Some of them suggested that Momma Dee's son's ex-wife might be behind the hit-and-run accident.
"Bambi was probably driving that night," one Instagram user commented on the news. A second fan jested, "Not Bambi putting a hit out LMAO." A third similarly alleged, "Now Bambi why you hit that lady and kept goin."
Lil Scrappy reportedly finalized his divorce from Bambi last month, just before his scheduled appearance at the 2023 BET Awards on June 25. Earlier this month, it was revealed that he had bought a new house after Bambi claimed prior to their divorce that they had to move out of their shared home because he didn't uphold his end of the rent.
