The answer might be disappointing for 'Kill Bill' fans because the 60-year-old director was previously open to the idea of expanding the action/crime franchise into a trilogy.

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino is not making "Kill Bill 3". The director, who initially hinted at the possibility of the project, has denied rumors saying he's working on a third installment of the movie.

When asked whether Uma Thurman and her daughter Maya Hawke were teaming up for the film, the 60-year-old filmmaker said, "I don't see that." He then divulged in an interview with DeMorgen, "My last film is about a film critic, a male critic. And he plays in the 70s."

The answer might be disappointing for "Kill Bill" fans because Quentin was previously open to the idea of expanding the action/crime franchise into a trilogy. When asked if he would make the third sequel at the 2021 Rome Film Festival, he replied, "Why not?"

As for Uma, she's been convinced that there will be no "Volume 3". When asked about the matter, the actress portraying assassin The Bride told "Today" in October 2020, "I don't think so." The leading lady continued to share, "I think it's already been made and been played and it's done in Quentin's mind... He's onto the next thing."

Uma once again talked about the potential of "Kill Bill 3" when appearing on "The Jess Cagle Show" last year. "I can't really tell you anything about it. I mean it has been discussed over the years. There was real thought about it happening, but very long ago. I don't see it as immediately on the horizon," she explained at the time.
