More than two years after going public with their romantic relationship, the 'Lady Bird' actress and her filmmaker partner get to experience a 'stylish, whimsical' wedding.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie Chance. After being together for five years, the "Lady Bird" actress finally tied the knot with her producer partner on Friday, May 19 in a summer camp-themed wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York.

Sharing details about the special day, the 29-year-old actress spilled to Vogue in an article published on Thursday, June 1 why she and her partner chose such theme for their nuptials. She explained, "Even though we met in London and fell in love on a film set, to get married at a camp was a truly beautiful emotional homecoming."

"It is our happy place together," Beanie said when elaborating more on the wedding concept. "I grew up going to summer camp for ten years, and my parents and both sets of my grandparents met at summer camp, so camp is a lineage of love through the generations of my family."

Beanie and Bonnie went on to reveal that the two of them intentionally had women plan and run their wedding. They shared, "Our genius designers, Little Sister Creative - well, it's all in the name - they are sisters too. It was very special for us as two creative women to work with such esteemed and talented women."

The newly-wed couple further discussed their wedding outfits. "Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that we would wear Gucci to our wedding," Beanie stated. "After we got engaged, I called my stylist Erin Walsh, and we started daydreaming."

"At that time, I was in the middle of working with Gucci, as I was beyond lucky to be a part of the Gucci Love Parade campaign. She said to me, 'Beanie, it's your wedding, what's your dream?' and I said, 'Gucci!' So, she asked them if they would be willing to make me a wedding dress," the actress continued. "I could not believe that they said yes!"

"It is absolutely everything we dreamed of and more," Beanie added. "Stylish, whimsical, unexpected. Bon says she feels like she stepped out of a storybook about a princess in it and that is the highest compliment she could give! Truly magical."

Beanie and Bonnie met for the first time on Skype back in 2018. The two finally got to see each other in real life in 2019 when they worked together in London for the "How to Build a Girl" movie. In December that same year, they went public with their romance.
