The official sneak peek for the upcoming Marvel movie features Teyonah Parris as adult Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, whose powers are somehow entangled with Carol Denvers' (Brie Larson).

AceShowbiz - The long-awaited sequel to 2019's "Captain Marvel" is finally coming later this year. To tide fans over the wait until its release, Marvel Studios has released the first teaser trailer for "The Marvels".

As obviously hinted by the title, there are not only one or two, but at least three superheroes in the upcoming film. Besides Brie Larson who reprises her role as Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel, the movie stars Teyonah Parris as adult Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Carol's friend and fellow airman Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch), and Iman Vellani, who reprises her "Ms. Marvel" role as Kamala Khan.

The teaser highlights the chaotic connection between these three superheroes. Following an investigation into a wormhole linked to the Kree, Carol's powers become entangled with those of Monica and Kamala, with the trio swapping places with each other every time they use their powers, forcing them to team up to determine why.

The sneak peek also sees the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and unveils first look at South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon as Prince Yan of Aladna. Zawe Ashton is cast as the villain, Dar-Benn, a Kree warrior who wields an Accuser's hammer.

In "The Marvels", Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels".

Nia DaCosta directs the movie, with the script she co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells. Kevin Feige serves as producer. The 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will hit theaters across the nation on November 10.
