Honey Boo Boo's eldest sister shares the heartbreaking evidence of her struggle to fight against stage 4 cancer as she recently underwent her first round of chemotherapy.

AceShowbiz - Anna Cardwell a.k.a. Chickadee is losing hair amid her cancer battle. Showing evidence of her struggle to fight against stage 4 cancer, the eldest daughter of Mama June a.k.a. June Shannon has shared photos of her hair loss.
In photos obtained by TMZ, Anna's hair loss is apparent as she spreads her long blonde hair with her back facing the camera. One of the snaps shows chunks of hair that have fallen out.
Anna is currently going through chemotherapy after she was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January. Family sources say she recently underwent her first round of chemo and her hair's coming out in chunks.
Despite the diagnosis, Anna reportedly remains positive. She's trying to deal with their hair loss by shopping for a wig, but it's not her primary focus. The mother of two reportedly also has quit her job as a car salesperson so she could focus all of her energy on her recovery.
Anna is changing her diet by cutting out sugars and eating more protein. She, however, is having difficulty eating because of numbness in her tongue. The chemo is also changing her sleep pattern, causing her to get exhausted because she's sleeping throughout the day but is having trouble sleeping at night.
Alana Thompson a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo confirmed her sister's cancer diagnosis on Thursday, March 30 via Instagram Story. The former "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star said, "& this is what I mean when I say you never truly know what somebody is going through at home. no matter how famous they are." The 17-year-old continued to pen, "yes, I'm very famous but normal s**t happens to me and my family & y'all need to realize that asap."
