Before releasing 'Red Ruby Da Sleeze' on Friday, March 3, the Young Money alum informed her online devotees that it will have 'ghost writers all around the world' scrambling.

AceShowbiz - The wait is finally over for the Barbz. Nicki Minaj released her new single "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" on Friday, March 3, a few days after she teased the track on social media.

The tune samples Lumidee's "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)" and hears the femcee referring to her 2018 single "Chun‐Li". She raps, "Only on them C's if it's breeze/ Red Ruby Da Sleeze, Chinese on my sleeve, these wannabe Chun-Li's, anyway, ni hao."

"Who the f**k told b***hes they was me now?/ I knew these b***hes was slow, I ain't know these b***hes senile," she goes on. "Married a shooter case you n***as tried to breathe loud/ Boom your face off, then I tell him, 'Cease fire.' "

Before dropping "Red Ruby Da Sleeze", Nicki told her online devotees that it will have "ghost writers all around the world" scrambling. Posting the song's cover art on Instagram, she penned, "#RedRubyDaSleeze tmrw night. ghost writers all around the world are scrambling [laughing emoji] Just watch. Nicki still on hiatus. This b!@ch right here tho? She outside."

The "Super Bass" raptress first previewed her new track via Instagram on February 23. Fans immediately recognized the sample from Lumidee's 2003 summer anthem, "Never Leave You (Uh-Oh)".

The new single follows Nicki's recent guest appearance on Trinidadian stars Machel Montano and Destra's "Shake The Place (Remix)". While there's no confirmation, all signs seem to point to the New York native officially gearing up for the follow-up to her 2018 album, "Queen".

Nicki previously said that her new album would arrive before the end of 2022 and that she expedited the process because of "Super Freaky Girl's" success. However, an album has yet to arrive.

"I wasn't sure how I was even feeling about having to put out an album this year, but that song happening and people liking it, that made me happy," Nicki told Interview Magazine at the time. "People have gone through so much recently that they want to have fun. It'll probably expedite the album to come out this year."
