The 30-year-old New York-born artist, whose real name is Dimitri Leslie Roger, gets the new body art in between his studio session and an interview with local radio in Florida.

AceShowbiz - Rich the Kid turns into art to honor Takeoff. More than two months after the Migos member was fatally shot in Texas, the "Girls Have Fun" rapper paid tribute to his late pal by getting himself a new tattoo.

The 30-year-old got the tat when he was in Florida. Giving fans a look at the emcee's new ink, which is Takeoff's name written across the back of his hand, was Tattoo MF Red, a Tampa-based artist who specializes in black/grey realism.

Sharing a video of the tattoing process, Red wrote, "Memorial tattoo for the homie @richthekid. R.I.P. @yrntakeoff." Meanwhile, he told TMZ that he had finished the ink within 30 minutes, in between the rapper's studio session and an interview with local radio.

Rich previously divulged that he met Migos, which also consists of Quavo and Offset, back in 2012 in an Atlanta club. "They were in front of the club, so their DJ [a friend] brought me to meet them," he recalled.

Rich, whose real name is Dimitri Leslie Roger, later hung out with the trio, which led to their first collaboration, "Jumpin Like Jordan". The track was dropped in 2013.

Takeoff was fatally shot on November 1, 2022 following an "altercation" at the 810 Billiards and Bowling Houston in Texas. One month following the fatal incident, a suspected killer, Patrick Xavier Clark, was arrested.
