The 'Single Ladies' actress claims in the bizarre tear-filled TikTok video that she's 'clueless' that the late rapper and actor passed away from a cocaine overdose.

AceShowbiz - Stacey Dash has been receiving online criticism for her "bizarre" behavior. The "Single Ladies" actress was mocked on social media after she shared a video of her getting emotional when she realized that DMX had passed away over a year ago.

The "Clueless" star and cousin to Damon Dash claimed to have discovered the heartbreaking news on Wednesday, August 31. In a tear-filled TikTok clip, which she later posted to her Instagram page, she condemned the disease of addiction.

"I didn't know DMX died," Stacey told the viewers in between her tears. "I didn't know, from a cocaine overdose. I am today, six years and one month clean, and it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart that he lost to it. He lost to that demon of addiction. Please. Please, don't lose."

In the caption of her Instagram post, Stacey wrote, "I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times." She continued, "Suddenly it says #RIP i know I am late, i did not know he passed away, he #OD I am heartbroken - he was such a great guy."

Social media users were greatly confused by the video, since DMX passed away in April 2021. DJ Hurricane asked Stacey in the comment section, "Where have you been? Under a rock?" Similar comments littered her post, with some even suggesting she was using drugs again.

"Gotta be drugs yo," one person wrote, with another wondering, "Stacey u on that stuff again ain't u ?" Someone else asked, "Lmfao GIRL IS YOU SMOKING TINA ?????" A separate person simply said, "So basically u high now. Got it."

Stacey herself had been struggling with addiction. Last October, the actress revealed that she used to take "18 to 20 pills a day." During an interview with "The Dr. Oz Show", she said, "I was taking 18-20 pills a day," to which Dr. Mehmett Oz replied, "18-20 Vicodin a day, that's expensive." To his statement, she confessed, "Yeah, I lost everything."

"That's what stopped me. I almost died," Stacey further recalled. "My kidneys were so infected that my blood was septic, and my organs were shutting down. So, I got rushed to the hospital and I had to have a full blood transfusion and I was in there for three weeks. And by the grace and mercy of god, I lived."
