AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B couldn't be happier to reunite with Victoria Beckham (Victoria Adams). Having spent time with her former Spice Girls bandmate, Scary Spice took to social media to share a photo of the two.
The said picture was shared on Instagram on Friday, May 6. In the snap, Mel B and Victoria were seen hugging each other in front of a celebratory cake. She began her caption by writing, "My spice sister vic, I can't thank you enough for your enormous generosity."
"Not only did you dress me and my mum but you surprised me by actually being there to fit us…….it was just soooooooo special thanks to YOU and your fabulousness," the 46-year-old went on gushing. "Honestly what a perfect ending to a magical day you booked a lovley dinner together with both our families wowza 25 years of friendship and we still like each other haha I love you lots."
Mel B met Victoria after she received her MBE from the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, on Wednesday. She was honored at Buckingham Palace for her services to charitable causes and vulnerable women. The pop star, who has been an advocate for victims of domestic abuse since 2018, dedicated the accomplishment to "all the other women" who are dealing with the same issue.
Speaking to The Sun about the recognition, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum raved, "I thought about all the women I've met over the past few years who have been through terrible situations, women who have died, women who are still suffering." She added, "This, for me, was all about them. It still is."
"Receiving that letter telling me about the MBE... it was the first time I thought that I'd done something," she further explained. "Not as a Spice Girl, but as Melanie Brown - this working-class, mixed-race kid from Leeds who has always done her own thing, regardless."
