AceShowbiz - Bruce Willis' wife has shared first pictures of the actor since aphasia announcement. Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 6, Emma Hemming gave a look at how they spent their day "off the grid."

In the two new photos, the couple posed on the trunk of tree, with Emma sitting on it and Bruce standing against the cut trunk. She wrapped her hands around his arm, while he put his hand on her thigh.

In one of the snaps, the pair smiled and stared lovingly into each other's eyes. Another shot captured the model leaning her head against the actor's. "Mom & Dad in their favorite habitat #offthegrid," Emma captioned the images.

On her Instagram Story, Emma posted the second photo and revealed that their 10-year-old daughter Mabel was the one who took the picture. The Malta-born model, who shares two daughters with Bruce, also shared a video of the "Die Hard" star walking on the river bank.

Meanwhile, their daughter Mabel was seen sitting on the ground and taking off her boots. In another clip, the girl was holding a bone of what appears to be a dead animal. It's unclear if the couple's 7-year-old daughter Evelyn also joined them during the outing.

Bruce's family announced his retirement on March 30 due to his aphasia diagnosis. "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," read a statement posted on social media at the time.

"As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him," they noted alongside a photo of the actor. "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support."

"We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him," they continued. The message was signed by Bruce's daughters Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, Tallulah Willis, Mabel and Evelyn, plus his wife Emma and ex-wife Demi Moore.

Following the news, fellow actors have sent their support to Bruce. "Bruce and I became good friends when we shared 2 of our biggest hits together, Pulp Fiction and Look Who's Talking," John Travolta wrote along with his throwback pictures with the 67-year-old actor. "Years later he said to me, 'John, I just want you to know that when something good happens to you, I feel like it's happening to me.' " He added, "That's how generous a soul he is. I love you Bruce."

Haley Joel Osment, who co-starred Bruce in "Sixth Sense", posted on his own Instagram page on Thursday, March 31, "It's been difficult to find the right words for someone I've always looked up to-first on the big screen, and then by some wild stroke of luck, in person. He's a true legend who has enriched all of our lives with a singular career that spans nearly half a century."

"I am so grateful for what I got to witness firsthand, and for the enormous body of work he built for us to enjoy for years and years to come," the former child actor continued. "I just wanted to express the respect and deep admiration I have for Bruce and his family as they move forward with the courage and high spirits that have always defined them."
