The 'Leave Me On Read' artist denies the 'Unforgettable' spitter's allegation that he owes him money by explaining that it was only a joke and was 'nothing serious.'

AceShowbiz - YK Osiris is making it clear that he has no money problem with French Montana. The "Worth It" singer has insisted that the "Unforgettable" spitter's claim that he owed him $5,000 is "not true at all."

The 23-year-old RnB artist took to his Instagram Story on Monday, January 3 to set the record straight that he doesn't owe Montana any money and doesn't want his name to be used for "clout" in 2022. Over a dark gradient background, he wrote, "2022 n***as not using my name for clout no more."

In addition, Osiris told The Shade Room that Montana's allegation was "not true" as it was only a joke. The "Leave Me On Read" artist explained, "We were just bowling, having fun, nothing serious. The game wasn't about any money, but [Montana] did win."

Osiris then made it clear that although he said he would pay Montana back, he was playing. "The Golden Child" singer added that he "wanna take [himself] seriously and focus on [his] craft." While he didn't want to spill too much on what fans can expect, he assured his fans that his upcoming project will be lit.

Osiris' response arrived after Montana shared a video of him jokingly pulling up on Osiris while at the club and asking Osiris to pay him back. "I found my n***a," Montana said. "He owes me some money. He don't wanna pay me, but I'm gonna get my money."

Osiris then embraced Montana, laughing and saying he'll get his cash. "I'ma give the money back," so said Osiris, before asking, "How much I owe you?" In response, Montana said, "You owe me $5,000 from bowling, man, you never paid me." Osiris then replied with a grin, "I'll give you that back, give me two more weeks."

Montana wasn't the first rapper who claimed that Osiris owes him money. Last month, Drake successfully made Osiris perform for him to pay off his alleged $60,000 debt. "@champagnepapi said if I sing, my 60k I owe him is clear lol welp‼️‼️ I had to clear that debt," Osiris wrote underneath a video of him singing his song "Worth It". "This what happens when u owe 60,000. The real s**t doe."

In the clip, Drizzy could be heard saying, "You owe me 60 bands and you have to perform the song right now in the crib." The "Degrassi: The Next Generation" alum added, "I'm giving you an out. I'm not Baby, I'm not Boosie," referencing the debts Osiris has with Lil Baby and Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie).

After clearing his debt, Osiris took to his Instagram Story to write, "I'm done gambling. That s**t not for me lol." In a following post, he stated, "Who ever [sic] I owe money too lol will be paid back 2022 [love emoji]. Starting January."
