After being taken into police custody for allegedly assaulting a man named Lucas 'with a metal chair,' the 'Employee of the Month' star is released from jail with a $50,000 bond.

AceShowbiz - Andy Dick was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. As confirmed by his fiancee Elisa Jordana, "The Andy Dick Show" star was sent behind bars after allegedly brutally attacking a man "with a metal chair."

The Los Angeles Police Department told Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 29, that the 55-year-old star was taken into custody on Saturday, June 26 at around 4:45 P.M. PT on North Mansfield Ave. in Hollywood. He was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon.

Elisa opened up about the arrest during her YouTube show "Kermit and Friends" on Sunday, June 27. During the livestream, Andy's fiancee detailed the incident. "That is true. I've been speaking to a lot of people about this," the comedian's soon-to-be wife revealed, adding that her partner was arrested after assaulting a man named Lucas "with a metal chair" that resulted in Lucas being hospitalized in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. "He could have killed him," she added. "I saw pictures, I saw the video; it's not good."

Elsewhere in the live session, Elisa shared, "It was the worst week with him. Every day there was some sort of problem. There were signs something was going to happen." The 32-year-old radio personality went on to admit that she "wasn't that surprised" about her fiancee's arrest.

"There are warning signs with people," Elisa claimed. "It doesn't happen out of the blue. When I heard he was in jail, I wasn't that surprised." The New Jersey native quipped, "We don't have to worry that he is going to die today."

After telling Andy's arrest story during the virtual session, Elisa told Us Weekly on Tuesday that "it's not going too great" with her and the "Employee of the Month" star. "He's mad at me," she explained. "I regret saying it, but I want to help. I want someone to help me. It's very hard dealing with these things. I love Andy and he is the best in many ways. In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have said anything, but I did. And I feel alone."

"He's a cute guy. A talented guy," Elisa continued, noting that she is hopeful everything is going to be better soon. She then gushed over the "Division III: Football's Finest" actor, "He's helped me tremendously, he makes me laugh, he has a lot of characteristics that are really good."

Additionally, the LAPD informed Page Six that Andy's bail was set at $50,000. According to Elisa, her fiancee was released from jail on Tuesday after posting the bond.
