Jools Oliver reveals she had a miscarriage during the coronavirus lockdown earlier this year, making it her third miscarriage since she gave birth to her fifth child in 2017.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Oliver's wife Jools suffered a miscarriage during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 46-year-old, who shares five children with her chef husband, has previously lost five pregnancies and paid tribute to the "five little stars in the sky" in an anniversary post for Jamie last month (Jul20).

Speaking on the "Made by Mammas" podcast, Jools told host Zoe Hardman that one of the miscarriages was very recently.

As Zoe asked her if she was "pining for a sixth child" before turning 47 next year, Jools replied, "I really do, I really do but I've just had three miscarriages since then (2017) and I'm thinking... and a recent one three weeks ago and I'm thinking, 'No,' I dunno. I do want to, but I've got to mentally check that it's a good idea to do."

"And also physically because I am 45 as I always say, nearly 46. So it's a little bit dodgy."

Adding Jamie is "kind of still up for" having another baby, Jools explained she'll give herself another year to fall pregnant before really "just shutting that chapter off."

She also revealed that while she had two miscarriages before welcoming son River into the world in 2017, the more recent ones have been at six and a half weeks along.

"So I just feel... I'm really good at going 'Right, I'm pregnant but it won't work so I'm just going to carry on,' whilst everyone gets really into it and I have really learnt to not because I'm kind of not very positive about it," she sighed.
