AceShowbiz - Kandi Burruss threw shade at NeNe Leakes and her friendship with Wendy Williams. During her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen", "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star weighed in on the friendship between the two, who seemed to have a fall-out recently.

In the Sunday, April 19 episode, Andy asked Kandi how she felt about their on-and-off friendship. "If you say that your 'friend' is 'one of those people over there,' which is the way that Wendy describes NeNe, that doesn't sound like a real friendship to me," she responded.

"You're not supposed to say that your friend is the 'over there' person," Kandi went on saying. "To me, that's someone that you associate with sometimes, but you don't really mess with them like that."

Wendy did refer to NeNe as "an 'over there' person" in the popular Hot Topics segment in the April 6 episode of her show. She was ranting about how she took some issues with NeNe trying to FaceTime her during the latter's Instagram Live session.

"If I don't do it for my own parents of the show, why would I be doing it for someone over there. I like NeNe, but she's still an over-there person to me!" Wendy told her viewers. "Honestly, here's where the ambush comes in. She said, 'Wendy, look' -- she was in hair and makeup and wardrobe with all her people -- she said, 'We filming and I want you to be on the speaker.' I said, 'NeNe, I did that for you one time.' Remember my appearance? One time!"

Stressing that she wasn't interested in being put on display that way again, Wendy continued, "I made it very clear, I am not a Housewife. Sorry, my career is a bit … different … than being a Housewife. I don't need that kind of attention."

Later, NeNe broke her silence on the issue in her Instagram Live. "I love to do a Q&A with you guys, but if you're going to ask me anything about Wendy, please refrain from doing so. ... "I am not that kind of friend," she said. "I've never been that kind of friend despite what you might think. Any questions I have, I would direct them to her. I wish she could have done the same. ... I am not a snitch and I will never be one."

Despite the tension, NeNe shared that she wouldn't "hash out friendship over social media. It won't benefit me at all. And it won't benefit any friendship that I have." However, it seemed like the 52-year-old TV star demanded a public apology for the "public disrespect."
