The social media influencer also defends herself after accused of mocking the religion of Islam for wearing the traditional garment during her visit to Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

AceShowbiz - Jordyn Woods has responded to backlash she received for wearing an abaya during her trip to the United Arab Emirates. The 22-year-old model has defended herself against accusations that she disrespecting the Muslim community by wearing the traditional garment while visiting Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

In reply to a comment from one of the critics, Jordyn claimed that the outfit was required for visitors of the mosque. "I'm sorry if I offended you but in order to enter the mosque you have to wear an abaya... In no world would I try to mock another person nor culture," she explained.

In another post featuring a video of her walking and twirling in the all-black abaya, she wrote, "For those of you that don't know in order to enter the mosque you must wear an abaya. It was such an amazing experience getting to see the beauty of another culture."

Some others, meanwhile, criticized her for still showing her hair through the abaya. One person pointed out that "the whole point" of an abaya is "to cover ur hair," to which the former reality star responded, "Understood." Responding to a similar comment, she wrote, "I just got properly educated. Thanks sis."

Jordyn, who has been traveling in the Middle East, previously sparked romance rumors with French singer Dadju with their Dubai trip. The 28-year-old singer, who is married with two kids, shared on Instagram Stories a video of the social media influencer smiling while posing on the street in the city.

Jordyn also shared a video of a card sent by Dadju with "Tu m'as fait bobo au coeur," which is translated to "You made my heart ache" according to Google, written on it. Red flower petals were seen on the surface of what looked like a table, possibly as another romantic gesture from the soul and R&B crooner.

Fans quickly expressed their confusion as they know that Dadju is a married man. "Uhm he's married... with kids," an Instagram user pointed out. Someone else remarked, "She got a thing for unavailable men. He married af."

Another person, however, thought that Jordyn and Dadju's trip to Dubai was to film a music video. "He is married. its for a music video," the said person claimed.
