AceShowbiz - Ari Fletcher isn't here for MoneyBagg Yo slander, especially when the one who does so is no other than her ex-boyfriend Gervonta Davis. On Friday, January 17, the social media star hit back at the boxing athlete for saying that he has more money than the "Relentless Again" rapper.
Taking to Twitter, Ari made it clear that he's not dating MoneyBagg because of his money. "Not a dollar gone bring me back and not a dollar gone heal your heart," she wrote on the bluebird app, threatening to expose Gervonta if he ever does something like that again. "Now stop before I go all the way there, I let you clown enough."
Meanwhile, MoneyBagg has yet to speak up about this.
Ari was responding to a comment Gervonta made to hit back a critic of his relationship with Yaya. The said person commented underneath photos of the couple together, "ARI & MONEY BAG YO LOOKS BETTER," to which the two-weight world champion replied, "I'm richer what now."
The comment wasn't the only rude remark that he received over their romance. "Y'all n***s love a passaround... ain't she f**k money may? Y'all make me sick," one user said, referring to the fact that Yaya used to date his mentor, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Not letting the comment get the best of him, he clapped back, "She mine now b***h...problem??"
There was also someone who said, "Damn this bm sick." In response to that, Gervonta joked, "Nah my bm Gucci. I promise." Meanwhile, when another claimed that the athlete was "hurt," he was clearly confused and replied, "Hold up...hurt about what?"
Gervonta and Yaya made their relationship Instagram official on Thursday, January 16, with the former posting a series of photos of them sitting courtside at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. "When you know you not supposed to be sitting court side or next to here but I'm here b***h I'm here...s**tin meee!!!"
