This year, viewers are treated to a lot of unscripted TV dramas that successfully make the headlines for various reasons, including cheating and the death of the main cast member.

AceShowbiz - This year seems to be a hard year for Duane Chapman a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter. The "Dog's Most Wanted" star went through the hardest time in his life when his wife Beth Chapman passed away on June 26 at the age of 51.

The whole journey of Beth's medical process after she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer was well documented on the series. Viewers could see Dog showing raw emotion following the devastating death of his wife in the season finale of the WGN America show which aired in September.

Duane looked so out of it during a meeting with his daughters, Lyssa, Bonnie and Cecily, hours after Beth's passing. "It feels like it’s not real," said Lyssa, who's one of Duane's children with his third wife, Lyssa Brittain. "We've prepared for this for a while," Duane responded. "I don't care how much you prepare, it's tough."

Recalling his moment with his late wife five days earlier, Duane said in a confessional, "We were flying from Colorado and [Beth] started feeling not so good." Beth later started to get hard breathing and he quickly instructed Cecily to call 911. "I just hear my dad yell, 'Everybody get out of the house. Cecily, get here right now,' " an emotional Cecily added. "You kind of just know."

Following her death, the Chapmans released a statement that read, "Beth died at 5:32 this morning, the same time she would wake up to go hiking Koko Head. The exact same time. She was surrounded by family and Dog was there, holding her hand."
