At the Comic Con Expo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the leading lady of 'Wonder Woman 1984' explains that her character 'is quite lonely' while helping mankind 'until something crazy happens to her.'

AceShowbiz - Gal Gadot made an impressive entrance at the Comic Con Expo in Sao Paulo, Brazil over the weekend (December 08), surrounded by Wonder Woman look-alikes.

The actress hit the stage with an army of cosplay fans to introduce the first trailer for "Wonder Woman 1984" after director Patty Jenkins unveiled new posters of characters played by Pedro Pascal, Kristen Wiig, and Chris Pine, who will be reprising his role as Steve Trevor in the sequel, even though the character died in the first movie.

Gadot was asked to explain something about the plot of the new film and told cheering fans, "In this movie we find her (Diana Prince) in 1984 and is quite lonely. She's lost her friends and doing what she needs to do. She's helping mankind and saving them until something crazy happens to her."

The CCXP crowd was then treated to the full three-and-a-half minute teaser, set to the tune of New Order's "Blue Monday", which featured a first glimpse at Wiig's Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah.

"Wonder Woman 1984" will hit theatres in June, 2020.
